Name: Condoleezza Rice Occupation: Secretary of State, douchebag Charges: Lying, misleading the nation, ignoring a goddamn memo titled "BIN LADEN DETERMINED TO STRIKE IN U.S." before the 9/11 tragedy.
For those of you who haven't been buried in a ditch lately, former president Bill Clinton went on the attack during an interview with Fox News monkey/journalist Chris Wallace, who immediately attempted to blame 9/11 on Clinton. This is a tried and true tactic of conservatives as of late, and Bill Clinton literally went through the facts piece by piece in defense of his work on terrorism which was, to say the least, quite extensive. As Clinton pointed out, a lot of the conservatives who now say he didn't do enough are the exact same people who said during his presidency that he was SPENDING TOO MUCH TIME ON TERRORISM. When Clinton DID see an opportunity to stop Bin Laden, he took it, and he was chastised by Republicans. Flash forward to the present day, where Condoleezza Rice is now going on the attack, defending the Bush administration's pre-9/11 terrorism work. In her words, the Bush administration did AS MUCH as Clinton. She also said there was no plan in place to fight terrorism. This is a lie. Richard Clarke had a plan in place when Bush took office. What Condi is also forgetting is the fact that we still haven't caught Osama. For those of you who are wondering exactly where the Bush administration is on this issue that affects so many of us, you'll be happy to know that the unit dedicated to finding Osama bin Laden has officially been closed, because the trail is stone cold. No one is searching for Osama bin Laden anymore. Under the Bush administration, no one ever was.
